I was told long tooth same day ,short next day ,but tbh after a few lads said use short all the time ,i do more now

if its soft a larger depth doesn't clog, but I tend to go over an area with a finer grade one to finish,i find it closes it in better.nothing more annoying than a mono render setting and seeing 'claw marks in it'. we have about half a dozen on the go at any time to break in.
But the other day I stood on one of my favs and it bent, I cried like a baby, but we gave it a good send off by burying it in the skip with the render shavings. Its the way it would have wanted to go.
