Just looking back at some previous topics, just wondering why some of you guys call the smaller 11" trowels get me out of the (german word) trowel.... ???

Re: 11'' trowl..

Becuase you can apply more constant pressure with them if uve left the gear on to long and ur losing the wall.
But the trowel will need to be really worn in .
Ive got a trowel ( 11 " ) specific for the final trowels which i use for getting me out the sh i t also.

Re: 11'' trowl..

I use mine all the time when polishing,to save on my wrists when im applying the pressure.
Up untill the last few years ive only used 11" trowels period,to be honest i dont really think i save any time using 14".
over the length of a wall ur talking about 2-3 more trowels full more than 14" trowel thats all.
Ive worked with guys that use 18 inch trowels but ten years down the line theyl have regret it!!!!
