I like folk like you, keen as mustard when yer skint and creating work for me becos you cant do it mate itll probly come off and greedy punter will look for a proper tradesman to do it right
Any ways if you do any float and skim you should no it takes nowt to put a tight coat over everything an then second pass (takes less fillin out and v easy to run yer edge over to get it bang on. :RpS_biggrin:
Ive scrimmed over the gap many a time but not over a 90 degree corner where t'other surface needs nowt doing to it. Just scrim up to it and mek sure you've got a good bit of scrim with thread right up to the edge if you know what I mean, hate it when scrim edges come away and stay on the roll...
whats all this priming about?
just wet wall, tight coat of backing coat, scratch it, second pass of backing coat, devil float it up and skim int' afternoon jobsagoodun :rolleyes)
