The anti dumping levy is 18 month old now all the distributors should have re sourced from Europe and the price increase have been made already.
ours certainly has
The k1 is without the silicone to help make it easier to use
much more similar to the parex and weber and I have heard good things from
the 3-4 people I have spoke to who have used it
HI,
K-rend is a silicone based render so more resilient to the weather etc, but if it is just cracking you are looking to avoid the K-rends Silicone tc15 would probably be better as it is more flexible.
Weber,Jub,Sto etc also all do variants on these renders
The code on the packaging should tell the story The best mesh is made by Vertex Saint gobain in the czech republic and this is the mesh supplied by Weber and various other Quality Distributors!
( but definetly not Wack) This is also almost certainly the mesh that is described as German Manufactured.
Try alkaline resistant mesh in the base coat and pin through while still green bridging the paint with a mechanical fix should be secure after as you are not relying on the paint to hold.
I Used these the other week no peeling away after though just sat there, looks like a T profile side on try using the expamet codes ( EXP580) for feature bead and
askiing the merchant for it in plastic.
Jub JLM 20 is a good basecoat by JUB it looks better on site if the whole system matches.
Although i have used HPX and Jub topcoat as well and both work fine.
I like the Jub stuff goes on easy but not as thick as the k-rend which i have just still not sure if this is an indication of quality, i will probably stick with Jub cos its tinted there and then
