I’ve done a gable end recently but the peak had to be pulled down and rebuilt it was bulging and leaning out the ties were totally gone

An endoscope won’t tell you if the tie is rusted as you can’t see the whole tie all you can see is the part in the cavity The only way to see is take a brick out

Did the surveyor remove bricks to check the ties because if he hasn’t there’s no way of knowing if there rusting.Get another surveyor out to check them

Horizontal cracks along the beds shows signs that the ties are rusting you can either remove or isolate the tie.The new ones are put in 5 every square metre and every 3 course at the door and window reveal

Don’t use mould paint clean it down and get a vent fitted for air circulation

It’s condensation fit a passive vent

It’s penetrating damp not rising damp

If there not damp why can’t you dot and dab boards on
