Well I haven’t no as I’m not a plasterer … either way it’s all done isn’t it and it’s not the best in the world by some obviously but it’s flat and I can make my son a nice enough room now.

Here is one … they did do something decent which helped me out to be fair. They cut up the carpet and took it with them to get rid of it. Which they didn’t need too, so appreciated that

3 days it was. Till I moaned about finish then they come back twice since… there was some grit stuff they put on wall that wasn’t boarded so that was left to dry one day

It is here…. Prices was 400 skim only by 2 guys. Others was 670-800 for back to brick, board and skim. Ceiling was re boarded, window wall and one next to it was back to brick and board. Other two walls was a lot better so just had repairs then skim all over…. But I’m quite satisfied with it...

You seem a bit of a c@@t mate!! I actually rang 13 for quotes but I am not sure if this is a local thing, but so many plasterers arrange to do quotes and don’t show up. Like my sister had quotes and the guys still didn’t show for the work when they arranged. 2 men didn’t show to do the work...

I have sent the plasterer the repair pics and have asked his opinion if this is good work at up to his high standards that he brags about.

Pics since “repair” I’m still not impressed but don’t know what I can or should do . Do I make a claim via bank as not good work? Or just run and fill more myself as the plug socket areas are the worst really and it’s something you see a lot as use them a lot

What do you advise…. So two of them come to do the job. One the plasterer the other that works with him sometimes who is more a painter and decorator by trade. So he sent the decorator one back to repair. Basically he cut out more of the crack and filled it and rubbed down areas I moaned about ...

Other people I know used him fb reviews good. Guy come out and said areas just needing light sanding down and will be fine ?

No i didn’t go for the lowest. It was the 3rd highest I went for as felt comfortable with them and fb work etc good and people I know used them.

I think he got more plaster on the radiator knob than he did that bit of the wall lol
