    What materials where used. If lime putty and plaster it could be magnesium in the putty reacting once mixed.

    Have been using this product for 60 years. Used correctly there is no better finish, it is the pure form of plastering no chemicals.

    A big no 3 coates will give you the best finish.

    Rough cast dashed with a slurry of cement lime sand and charcoal or very light pebbles.

    Depends on how big the room but you could try a tramel or work out where you're 3 centre's are, then go from there.

    Find the centre Point for the the circle run a gig stick for a perfect job,otherwise use a feather edge straight edge using the best tool in your kit, your eye .
