If your up to speed and the temp is not too hot, you should do the largest area on the coldest possible day (no rain of course), maybe get a very early morning start when there is moisture in the air and no sun on elevation, if its hot and the suns on it you have no chance

Is it a large job with big areas or a domestic property with small areas, if its the latter I would just trowel the topcoat on, spraying is very messy and needs a lot of masking and covering up, the stuff gets everywhere, not to bad when you have big areas as it does save a lot of time...
