Yep it dried very fast for me on the trial. I prefer knauf mp to any other plaster and I've had a good run with the stuff this year before they started messing with it.

Def not the usual winter/summer crossover. I had to trial a new batch of knauf mp a couple a months ago, I had knauf rep come and watch me use it and asked my thoughts, they told me it would be getting more gritty.

Firm I work for use knauf mp in most new build houses and we had loads of problems last few weeks. Had to use thistle until knauf sort problem. Heard they had shut factory to sort it. Hope it gets sorted I prefer knauf to thistle. Apperantly running out of gypsum so they have to substitute it...

Great trowel. I've been using a s*p*r*lex for nearly two years and I wouldn't go back to Marshal town. I scratch, lay in and trowel up once with s*p*r*lex and last trowel up with plastic. Just wish I could get to grip with speedskim but not for me.

We mostly use knauf MP finish which stays wet. Unfortunately on new build prices we have to put big gauges on, also pressure to finish houses quick!! That's why I cutout about the machines to make life easier.

I use a 90ltr tub Scottie. There's just me and apprentice (who's a decent spread) and work on new build houses. Does anybody use machine on new build houses?

Hi all, this is my first post but often come on here for a nosey. Me and family are in talks about relocating to truro, Cornwall but I just wondered how busy the new build work is down there. Any feedback would much appreciated as this would be a big life changing move for us. cheers
