Ive decided to not bother using s c on my house as im sick of it cracking.
Ive decided to give silicone a go and use my house as a guinea pig.
Ive been in contact on fb with a supplier of baumit . Is this stuff any good .

Ive got a small rendering job to do over timber and im trying without success to get some building paper to put behind the rib lathe.

Im a very long term mt ss trowel user. But starting to wonder if something with a bit more give would be better.
As much as i hate buying tools im.going to get either a new carbon or ss
And maybe a flexible one too
I know this will start a debate . But trowels only . No spats or speedskims...
Fed up humping my bosch and transformer about.
So looking to get something relatively cheap. Under 250 ideally. For mainly mixing finish, the odd bit of bonding.

I bought one of these and the pole a good few years back when i was house bashing and to be honest i never got on with it.
Being an old fart ive always used a ms stainless trowel.
Occasionally ive used a sponge when boardworks bad and use it then. But other than that dont bother
