When you say over dashes you mean you re did the dashing coat straight over the top of it

In regards to rendering garden walls... Do you have to put a bell bead on the bottom or can you just go to the floor. This is just a garden wall i would never do this on a house

Hi people Im struggling to understand the ratios of waterproofing. The waterproofer im currently using for rendering is a cementone one from TP. On the back it says add waterproofer to gauging water at 1 part solution to 30 parts water. What exactly does this mean in english?

Is there a reason why Sika isnt used for external render? Is it designed to hold back water penetration from the substrate as opposed to Ext. render which stops rain penetration?

I was just curios as many plasterers seem to be confused on which coat it goes in and my last rendering job I put waterproofer in the scratch and the float was piss wet through for hours. It was however at the latter end of winter so outside temperature was at least 4 or 5...

By the way the reason I have posted in the damp section is because I am also wondering if you need to use a different waterproofer when S/C internally say on a treated damp wall or small section of basement wall
