    I use OX flexi trowel just for polishing, stainless steel Marshalltown for laying on and troweling, wouldn't recommend laying on with a flexi trowel.

    The two different shades are because one side was scratched on the same day, the other side was scratched the following day. No it doesn't look acceptable. Call a Webber rep and he will let you know.

    If you can't plaster with a stainless steel trowel, start to finish your not a plasterer. Plastic trowels at the end of your set are for polish only,they don't fill misses by just running your plaziflex across your work.

    although this may began as your job did the customer deal with them direct if so pass their details to him and let him chase them up, however if you cotracted out the job better to try sort it out yourself to the customers satisfaction so your reputation isn't ruined, i once had to scratch back...

    i phoned british gypsom and asked them what would happen if no bond it was put on first, they said it would all fall off once it dried, well its all a lovely pink colour and its still on, fingers crossed have to admit bicking it abit, seven years spreading for same contractor with no probs still...

    what you could do is cut down an ange bead and render into window,are you using the relevent base coat for the painted bricks

    vern if you want to get more on you could do a running hit lay on a couple of bags should be simple if on big wall second coat go back flatten in making sure its absolutely tidy that will give you time to mix another bag 1st and 2nd coat that go back to beginning and hardwipe the lot the neater...

    thanks on a job at the moment and haven't used any bond it or though i have skimmed loads too and its always been ok never noticed it has a waxy coating, next time i'll use it as long as they up the rates per m2

    what happens if you don't use bond it on mr board if prior to skimming, first it was use pva now its bond it however all plaster board is covered with paper its whats behind it that allows for its various uses like sound block and fire board so why pre treat mr board any one know thanks
