You will need to seal if using the surerend topcoat. The surerend is also half the price of powerwall exposed and does the same job.
I also powerwash the surface to get rid of any dirt.
Get your scrim tapes on, mix enough for half the ceiling or enough that you can handle. Lay on the first coat, trowel flat then next coat.
Dont go down the route to hold back set times, as said mix enough that you know you can handle.

Hi, ive used mr and powerwall one coat but tbh i always prefer to put a scratch coat first.
In my opinion the one coat is a mess when the sun hits it.
Spoke to poerwall today and they have said it will be ok.
