No sign of my van or tools at all. Police told me after just three days that they had stopped investigating it and consider it as 'unsolved'.
I'm still in a hire van at the mo and slowly getting new (and some old) gear together.

Thank again lads for all the goodwill and support. I'll be ok just feel disillusioned that I work hard and stealing a working blokes tools and livelihood is fair game to these scumbags.
Been out buying replacement essential needed bits and pieces today.
If it was a few months more they could of...
Well it looks like they will pay out for the van.
Tools of trade no chance. £300 limit on other personal possessions otherwise.
I suppose I've been lucky... its been over 20years since the last van was stolen.
Yesterday morning at work my van and most of my tools was stolen.
You know what its like .... setting up and preparing a domestic job, in and out to the van, getting it all together. Head in the game.
Labourer was hacking off upstairs, I had to pop off down to the B&Q for some bits.
Went out to...
"One thing to add, which we have learnt is that certain material such as Monoblanco are more effectively sprayed on speed 3 - this is due to the composition of the material and the water setting required."
.......... You're Welcome.
I don't come on the forum very often but decided this morning to browse through a few threads.
I saw Ritmo L or Mtec 200?
Something I feel adequately experienced to comment on. Seem to have aroused a little interest while I was at the pub.
This is just my account of using the M200 machine. I...
I have been using my mates mtec m200 on a few of my domestic jobs since August spraying Parex monorex.
Its a tidy looking design with a useful on board water pump, but unlike my ritmo, requires an additional external air compressor.
I was interested to see if the m200 machine lived unto the...
I think probably the k11 tanking slurry was not properly applied and so the damp wall has caused the render to fail. I have used this before to isolate a damp wall from the render such as garden walls or when i have been asked to render below DPC for whatever reason. Had no comebacks.
I use my left over bags of parex to dub out the next job... Under mesh or whatever. My supplier will take back his stocked colours but anything else ordered that can't go back gets used up. Never had a problem. no colour bleed or grinning.. and no damp bags clogging up the garage.
Ian Thanks for you input
I go from job to job
Extension lead is heavy duty 50 reel is the one we use all the time and coil unwound.
It must be the shaft. the machine is doing what you describe. Fading at about ten bags to start then more frequently.
I'll get a new one and I will reduce pump...
Ok Ian here goes..
Ok I always use a bosh and AV3000pump. ( now i will clean air and water filters after Les 's bollocking ;-)
Once I have water pressure to machine I'll switch it on and purge any air from the water pipe, set water at around 450 and connect to top inlet.( i don't use the plastic...
Air pipe is clean and clear. air filter clean. I suspected it might have a fissure but ruled this out as a cause anyway.
water filters were a bit slimey but nothing major. They were cleaned.
I thought the motor had just decided to die.
Could it be the 5kva transformer? ,,, I just don't know
The Ritmo has performed well all summer long but Spraying monorex over the last few weeks has been a ball ache.
Every now and then for no reason it just seems to start struggling to pump, slow down to a spit and then stop.
I've checked everything. (i think) But it just keeps doing it and its...
I Cant afford a PFT LK 403 compressor so for now I've picked up a IMPAX 24l High flow compressor from screwfix. £229.oo That should do it. it'll blow 392ltr per minute of free air.
If you fancy jumping on it with us Rigsby I'm planning to do it on monday. Job is in Cannock, Staffs. PM me if...
Advice please,
I want to spray apply this acrylic top coat.
Will I be able to put the powder directly into the ritmo or should I premix it beforehand?
Thanks
Been talking to supplier and reckon it was a combination of fog / atmospheric moisture dying the night along with the cold. The surface temperatures of the affected areas were 3 degrees even though the air temp was 10 degrees. Too cold for it to properly set. then the moisture came the second...
I primed it.. two coats.. five days before top coat. The wall didn't seem damp when i applied top coat but i didn't touch test all of it of course. Also I didn't think a little dampness would be a big problem anyway.. that could be my mistake. Well You live and learn.
I finished a rendering job on tuesday. We have had dry weather here in the midlands while all the work was being done.
Although it was chilly, we had no frost. I Used Jub primer and acrylic top coat to finish some sections of the job which were existing painted render and some on top of HP12...
No Paul not him, Big Jay he's here for the long haul mate.... good job aswell, my backs Fcukd at the mo. Lifted the Ritmo wrong the other day:RpS_cursing:

B&Q really fkin grind my gears. :RpS_cursing: Trade discount? Forget it. But Every wednesday my local Cannock one is packed with oap's who can get everything 10% cheaper than me.
I thought age discrimination was illegal.
I went to a BNI meeting yesterday (2nd time) and filled in the forms to join. It seems a good mix of professions and trades but there is no plasterer. I feel quite positive about BNI. First time I went to see what it was all about was two weeks ago and i got three leads. One was no good, the...

And this is going to be his new home, probably his largest investment he is f**king up - not just some bit of patching to chance with. I don't understand what goes through their heads.
I would charge him extra now to strip out the...
Sold it on Ebay.
Quite a lot of interest in it. Finally went to a gang mono of subbies who had a G4 and a G4 light with gennys and kit all squashed in one big sprinter with my XL.
I worked with a putzmeister spraying S & C and G4 using mp75 in Germany for three years in the 90's .....Good times
I couldn't find any opportunities for site machine work when I started back here in 96 and it was back to the stick and plunger:RpS_bored: like going back to the dark ages...

Yes I am pleased so far.
I got a 5.5kva transformer coming. Hope that does it.
Av3000 waterpump has no instructions tho. I can't fathom it out. :RpS_cursing:
I had one before with the XL and couldn't get on with that one either.
Hoping Les can help me when I go up next week for the render kit...
I did, I went and got it Wednesday. (But didn't pay what he was asking) .....Only a few months old and seems to be in good nick.
Got a few more bits to get for it and render set up from PFT Northern. If 110v is good enough for Currier its good enough for me.:RpS_thumbup:
Steve - this modified ritmo mixing shaft for skim set up, what did you do to it to improve it?
And what 110v comp do you use instead of the onboard one?
Ok so I'm finally ready to invest in a new ritmo (with a powercoat set up). Its gonna do as much as poss across the board for me - mono, bucket coats and spray skim etc.
First I settled on the L. I Saw it spaying skim on you tube no prob - I thought newer technology- More power, longer 20m...
Hi Bigguns
If sand and cement or dricoat base coat is not an option here
Permagard do a kit that could help you out with this.
Check this out, I just lifted it from their website.
This kit is specifically designed for application after the insertion of a new damp proof course. The 3mm Meshed...
I had a punt with these. £120 for six months worth. They said that if I got no enquiries from it than I could get another six months free.
When someone contacts them they send it on by text to four of the signed up tradesmen for follow up.
So I'm three month into it and I've had nothing...
Hi Beachcomber
Have a word with Andy at gold trowel. He can supply you with a very similar product.... Venezia 24/7 Crackle

Good luck
Probably done last time with a strong mix and waterproofing additive. The wall is covered in cracks so moisture has collected behind the render which is struggling to dissipate. It may not have 'blown' yet but its only time.
A damp wall is a cold wall so this could be causing penetrating damp...
