alrite lads got a basement that needs tanking done one or two before by killing the salt then 2 coats of k11 and sbr followed by two coats of s&c with water proofer finished with multi, just wondering if this is the still the best way 2 do it, customer not got the money to have a pump installed...

Why should you mix lime with ur top coat? And should you put the same as the cement eg 4 1 1?

iv got a big dpc to do in a week or so and have always done the render as a 3:1 scratch with waterproofer and top coat 4:1 with waterproofer just wondered if anyone else did it any difference and if it mattered i wernt adding lime?

recently worked with another spread who put this first and second coat on with one 14" b 4" trowel and troweled up with another one as he said the first will put it on even as it is not bent in anyway due to pressure threw troweling. just wondering if theres any truth in this?
