Can you bed mesh with mono, scratch coat it then top next day I’ve always done it wet on wet but was talking to some renderers today and they said you can scratch it and top next day , is this right.
Did this roughly 6 weeks ago front ecorend mr1 in antique white and the dormers in sr 15 silicone in antique white surely they should be drying out in a similar colour
Yes mate they chose it so not that bothered but I’ve done there dormer in same colour thin coat which colour is spot on and the front sticks out a mile as don’t match dormers
How long does it take for the monochue to fully dry out ,,, the colour I’ve used a antique white been on for more than 48 hrs and looks a look darker than the sample
did a job last Nov in a old property upstairs in thistle dri coat as client requested it ,, put it all on , let it dry out fully,, skimmed up no probs... Had a phone call saying that it all cracking been and had a look and there's hairline cracks all over the place.. Any ideas why??
Rendering front of a house in weber OCR , going to rendaid it first and then OCR it... Do you have to put it in 15m thick or can it go on thinner .. Cheers lads
Hi lads. Have got a rendering job to do in weber pral m.. Chopped it off and gonna rend aid it but it needs building out in places to level it up!! Do I rend aid it and then level it up with OCR to receive scratch rend... Cheers lads
Hi lads...got a small gable to render,, can i rend aid it ,,then finish with sand and cement instead off ocr and would i need to scratch coat first or just go straight over in one coat....cheers
Hi lads,,got some weber plast tf 150 to do round some brick corbling and my 280 x 140mm plastic trowel is to big... Does anywhere do a smaller size or do i cut one down?? Cheers
yes bays in a bad way but dont really want to rebuild it,, the bloke next door had his done last year and they just expanded metal it and rendered it in sand and cement and no cracks have appeared as off yet...just got a couple off bad cracks and some loose bricks where my bricky mate will slate...
its the bay between living room and bedroom.. was just going to slate the loose bricks,, what about the big cracks or will the rend aid and mesh get over this??? cheers
have just chopped my bay off at home and its in a right state ie big cracks and loose bricks due to the movement between the bay windows over the years, am going to slate the loose bricks, whats best for the big cracks?? Am going to rend aid it then ocr it... Do i mesh the rend aid or the ocr...
Had a ceiling completely shell off in this product before xmas.. Rep came and took samples and the remainder of the bag and said he would get back to me,, still waiting....thats what you call great customer service!!!!!!
bg rep came to see me and took some samples ov the shelled uni finish to give to the technical department and said they would get back to me.... he couldnt really give me a answer to why it happened cos its a new product, load ov b*ll***s really but learnt my lesson and wont use it again,, stick...
