Mine came supplied with the flexi and I got the plazzy extra but found that the flexi was just as good for flattening render and base coats as a hard blade, just gotta hold it different. Works for me bud :)
I been using the eze with a plazzy blde for some time now and there is no easier way to get a perfect shiny finish. Straight out of the packet it pulls and fluffs up the finish but after a rub down on dry fresh plaster to smooth the edge it glides over wet multi without leaving any stripes and...
This is sooze, she has just completed the plastering element of skill build and won! Massive congratulations to her for all the hard work and dedication she has put in to achieve her goals! Considering she only started in september this is a great achievement for her and just goes yo show what a...
Just logged on and got a pop up saying the forum supports tapatalk now? Did the upgrage through playstore but it seems we dont. Is it just a rogue ad or has my sgs2 now got aids?
All wrong I kicked its ass :D Bathroom ceiling nailed, I did only manage to get 1 wet one over it before the fat went hard on the edge of the bucket though but its flat and shiny :)
A wee baby. Pva it and get everything ready to go before you mix. Dont overmix and maybe mix in 2 halves, smaller buckets of fresh gear go off one after another which will save you chasing one mix going off all at once. The ceiling me and a mate done ate 6.5 bags of multi.
How big os this ceiling? Me and a mate covered a 50m2 ceiling this week, first coat flat, second coat flatter then went over it with a spat twice. Shiny and flat with plenty of fag breaks in between. If its on board then you can always pva first to help you out a bit. College wont teach you how...
He he :RpS_lol: another chancer surfaces. First coat skim with broken up doritos to give a good key for the second coat which I like to add some pot noodle, any flavor is good but I prefer the chinese one. Save the sauce sachet though and add it to the splash water for trowelling up, gives a...
Just use it im sure it will be fine. take an oilstone or diamond file to it to remove any machine marks though. once done learn to look after your trowel properly, it is afterall your money maker
2 coats of sbr, ladder against stair head wall with plank across to the stairs and get stuck in. If it goes too far before you finished then you got no hope as the sbr will hold it off for ages. I done one yesterday with a couple of small walls to make up the set.
A couple of the other forums I use dropped tapatalk, something about the money involved I think. They did however release an app instead which could be a viable option Danny.
River monsters done an episode on the pacu and what it has been reported to have done around its native amazon river. Nasty nashers and some real power to put behind them aswell, they are supposed to be veggies with the teeth used to bust open hard nutshells and fruit seeds but are slowly taking...
Dont bother they will all fail. As said batton and screw (battons and daughter........and mother in law, nothing like a sportsmans double) if he still wont listen then there is only one answer you can safely get on here and thats write peado on his house and s**t on the doorstep:RpS_thumbup:
I've had a couple of bags with small bits of grit in it, looks like tiny bits of limestone. The gear aint setting any quicker which is a good job as im spending most of my time picking fkin stones outta my sets. Mine were from bristol
The clump appears to be old fibre boards rather than anything else, if asbestos is present on your ceiling in clumps like that then you have major issues lol. The asbestos in artex is minimal so no worth worrying about.
A. Just let the plasterer get on and do the job and not fuss over nothing...
Tried it numerous times and always have to reduce it down on the top or bottom of the cut (cant remember which) cove is in the right position as far as im aware malc. just cant get on with it
Good choice, better to be safe than sorry. Asbestosis is not a nice way to go. Back to the trowel, stick with a stainless marshalltown 14" permashape, its the bit that earns the money so requires the best. Other bits would be a nice lightweight hawk like the marshalltown one, mixing buckets...
They are a bit backward up there and cant understand the word hawk. Don't forget asbestos awareness, you would be surprised where that **** is. Old artex has some although not as potent as the spray on fire retardant. Good luck :)
The bosch also has 2 speed but the difference is it hits full speed straight away but has a servo to slow things down if needed. The ones with the silly speed wheel that take a while to spin up to full speed are irritating for me.
