    Pva?

Hi guys. I couldn't get hold of any limelite so used permagard Renovating plaster - same kinda stuff I believe. Got it up nicely and skimming with multiple tommorrow. Any idea if I can Pva, wet or go straight on. It looks far too dry already to not treat as suggested by the lady on their...

    Sand cement/lime/waterproofed?

Hi all. I've just pulled skirting off solid Victorian wall along with half the plaster! I'm right down to the brick. It's an external wall and I need to patch up before skimming. What mix should I use? Do I need lime and/or waterproofer? Any advice would be gratefully received.Cheers.

please help plastering victorian brick walls..

thank you! Thanks for the replies. It is not listed and not rendered on all walls. I've tried to research this a lot, but there seems to be a lot of conflicting answers. On top of all this, the lime pplasters should be painted with natural paints to allow the breathing (yes, to stop damp), but...

please help plastering victorian brick walls..

Guys, I'd appreciate your help please - I've done loads of jobs using gypsum plasters, but have been advised not to use gypsum in my victorian solid brick walled semi to let it 'breathe'. I believe all the walls are still of original lime plaster although some of the ceilings have been boarded...
