Why leave it dry? I do the same although im guessing some think you have to apply your skim whilst its tacky. Maybe they wrongly think it helps the skim adhere for some reason, but i hear it all the time.
I used to think if the pva went dry i would have to reapply it and wait for it to go tacky...
My ol man just got back from a Caribbean cruise. He wasnt keen with it but said he enjoyed. Hes in his late 70s so hes not into just sitting around a pool on the normal run of the mill type hols so was a change for him.
Plastering is thee most stressful out there. Once its on you have to stay with it. You cant look around and f**k around with a pencil or brick (or prick if you got time). We laugh and take the piss out of each other, but i got all the time in the world for those that took this madness up, and...
There not many quality plasterers out there. Somebody than can do a standard of work thats at least paintable. There's a few really good quality tradesmen about. flat, and matt, and the work when dry is uniform. Take my hat off to those that learn the trade and know how to put out that kind of...
Thats why all the lubes run out.
I find wicks expensive. £150 for 50 skim beads. Wack builders wholesale doing a deal 100 beads + 200 FFP2 masks £99. Great for when the next plandemic hits(y)
Oof nasty. Few stiches back to work? :ROFLMAO:
Did you have a set on?

Its all done onto the next one.
He told me after that the job was rushed. Was a pain to do but they are over the moon with how its turned out considering the shape of it.

I gave a price for this re-skim, and media centre, and at first glance it looked straight forwards enough. It was only after starting that there was quite a bit of straitening up to do. A chippy done the boarding, and some of it is shocking. Even the sparks work was bad, and some of the back...
Im trying to convince my mate about them. Hes stuck in his ways, and takes time to try anything different. I said look its just a labour saving device thats all nothing to do with finishing. I said you need to work smarter at your age, he said you cheeky bastid we the same age. :ROFLMAO:
I can imagine him going around selling his spray plaster for walls that got F all wrong with them. Just look at him he got c**t written all over his face.
The origins of religion go back several hundred thousand years, and thats just a suggestive figure as some artifacts representing religious ideas go back as far as 50,000 yrs.
Im not religious myself per say, but when im asked do i believe in god my response is i act like i do. Our sense of...
