This is why I don’t personally like light weight render products too many cowboys

So similar to zego blocks , I’ve done l oads of these in Aus , we found a lot of the props moved leaving bows in the walls so not always 7 mm each coat to level out

Spent 10 years in manly ( Sydney) , the rest of time was Gold Coast prob dodged a bullet with Perth there been not much work there for about 6 yrs some guys I know out there are only gett 200 aus a day

Yes mate mainly rendering in aus so prob just stick to that , not much skimming over there havnt done much of it in last 20 yrs

Hi all , fairly new here , just got back to yo after 23 yrs in aus , wondering if any one can give advice on prices changing over the years eg sand cement , skimming , micro cement and venetian any advice would be appreciated great site love reading the banter cheers Marcus

Wouldn’t send the Aussie to uk , there all half a tradesman send a plasterer over to home and they wouldn’t beable to skim not many in aus can do traditional sand cement or lime plaster there all light weight renderers skim it on and walk away

Na that’s finished idiot architects choice they just paint it now

Majority is dry lining , some of the high end jobs are sand cement , hard set which is a bit like skimming, but have to use lime putty , or we done a lot of Venetian here

It’s gone to s**t here to many Chancers here now prices going down plus my sisters on her last legs with ms

Hi , relocating back to uk (Havant) after being in aus for 18 yrs well experienced in external render , that’s all they over here sand cement, light weight coloured render etc if you have any thing in the next fortnight I’d be interested cheers Marcus
