    I've been plastering 6 years since I was qualified and it's been a wide mixture of t on building sites and commercial jobs and council residential, so I've had some s**t days I was just venting off after todays episode.

    Putting in extra screws etc and sorting out the bad boarding wasn't in the price and it's more time time consuming which again wasn't in the price. I understand nothing is ever perfect but don't want to be mugged off.

    No, I advised him to use 12.5mm and the boards were 12.5mm, basically after doing some of the boards properly which wasn't in the price, turned out that he just screwed some to the joist and most to the Kings pan insulation, when I told him that he said it be all right. Some people dnt have a clue

    Each to their own, next time I have a bonding and skim job I will just skim straight over and see if that is better but I have done it the way I have numerous times and never had a problem before.

    I was told also go over the top with sheeting up, tape wood work and have a separate clean pair of boots/trainers to put on after job to keep tidy.
