Use Dulux trade supermatt for mist coat. Only dilute with 10% water and go from there.
Put second mist coat on once sorted imperfections. Dulux trade covers well.
Products for cleaning hand tools.
Carbon steel, vinegar and salt to remove rust. Oiled to preserve condition.
Stainless tools, bicarbonate soda to remove residue.

If it's unpainted artex then everbuild or bond it stabilising solution first for larger ceilings. Pva afterwards
Once stabiliser has dried off then apply pva
Remember some suction is required.

Depends on the type and condition of the ceilings. Should be able to use pva on it's own usually. Don't often feel the need to mix materials. Prep work is down to experience.
Drinking Water is the easiest and cheapest thing you can do to help your health and wellbeing. A physio can help with suitable exercises for lower back.
Heat is the best pain reliever. Having a strong inner core is essential.
It's not rust that causes the bleed through the plaster. Only seen rusty beads in a kitchen or bathroom that have been exposed to water or moisture directly over years.. Scraping beads once skimmed would need to be excessive to remove galvanized coating

Interested to find out advantages of mixing with pva and using tacky or left to dry.
Use board finish over pva without trouble. Small amount of trisodium citrate if needed to extend the setting time. Cheaper than multi also and a lot more predictable.

If you don't want to buy too much as your not usually plastering try a small tub of bonding agent from wickes to provide a key on the pvc then a powdered filler such as toupret to fill.
