i went to gold trowel. Its pretty good actually. Been wanting to go on the venetian course for a while now.
I must say though id be suprised if many of the people there on my course would have continued on in this trade..
Can somone recomend a cheap place to buy this gear from? I have looked at goldtrowel but the prices seem expensive. Also I have looked at stucco italiano but they dont show prices, and they havnt emailed me back yet with prices...
um just had a quick look and it appears you can use marmorino. i dont know if this is acrylic stuff though, pretty suree its the real (german word).
update: Yes it is real venetian plaster, not acrylic. But i think you can use a resin over the top to help protect it.

If your wallpaper has a shiny/gloss surface use a cleaner with hot water as mentioned above, but the cleaner needs citrus/lemon in it. Or u cud squeeze a lemon in warm water. It really helps. If there are large lumps, carefully pick them off with some kind of blade, but only attack the plaster...
just wondering how you guys dont manage to spill any? I always get it everywhere... any tips? I do work by myself though so i hav to mix and clean as well as plaster. appreciate any advice.
