Very much dependant on finish, colour & meterage. Day rate varies depends who you work with,i know guys that only pay 100per day and others that pay 250per day. Always work for price. Tough out their tho
Has anyone used a good silver wax for a stucco finish. I have found that some waxes can be rubbed off the finish easily. Im ideally looking for it in a paste form. Some1 must have used a good Wax,cheers in advance
hi guys, substrates for tadelakt I would use a tanking system,wedi-impey or simular. Tadelakt is prone to micro cracking, you would need to keep soaping to stop the pasage of water. There are tadelakts out there that dont micro crack. Also ive been informed that mike wyes pigments at Are crap...
I dont know what u mean by mix design,i have a amazing paste for my spatulata finishes (high shine) most marmorino is ready mixed. But I have used the bagged form and love it. So im looking for a supplier.

Hey matey, just try all different materials. You will find whats best for you.
I have spent lots of time in the workshop experimenting with materials. The gear I use gives me fantastic results, and allows me to create some amazing finishes. The biggest problem I come across was delamination...
Hi John, there are endless amounts of trowels and tools you could buy. However just get the essentials and then buy as you need. I started off with a few spats, small, medium and large trowels, angle trowels and bucket scoop.
Now my kit has grown some what, i have seperate laying on trowels for...

Hey steve, nice vid. Its a nice finish. I used the same black classic its a real nice look. Could i just ask why you burnished with a plastic trowel on a classic finish? I know i would on a marmorino carrara finish or intona.
Keep up the good work!
Hey lads, White Pitted finish as the base, and white marmorino over the stencil. because the two finishes have varying textures it makes the white look different.

thanks lads. the wall was boarded and skimmed before we got there, when we applied the pitted this covered the skim and the bead. Use a angle trowel to get a nice rounded corner, we laid the stencil out where we wanted it and stuck it to the wall when we were happy with the position and wrapped...

Ive applied paraffin wax with a cloth and trowel both work well, Just clean the trowel afterwards. there are alot of different waxes on the market find which work best for you and make sure they are suitable for the application, ie some waxes arent suitable for wetareas
As above the cera wax is liquid form, apply with a cloth (i use a microfibre) Paraffin wax is in paste form and again use a cloth or trowel it on. Buff each layer of wax to remove any excess. Ive not used burnishing wax on lime based plasters i thought it was used on acrylic finishes. Theres...
Good to see you back. I agree it is very hard to get this out there.
I just think you should just post your own work so the clients can see what your capable of. If you have other peoples work on your site and then they ask you to do a complex job thinking your able to do that, you may...
Hey SCB, You can do 2or 3 coats of marmorino in a bathroom ive done it. I prefer it over the high sheen venetian plaster. Im not to sure how good ppc waxes are, I would wax as mistersmooth said. lets us all know how you get on
Hey matey, looks good. was it just the two main walls that you done? was it 2 or 3 coats? looks like you got a nice polish on the marmorino. Marmorino is def my fav finish.
Sorry wallpas most of those pics of the polished plaster and cement flooring are phils, i noticed one from natural decor too, i bet only one of those pics are yours. Its best to just show your work not other peoples.
Yeah i know giavani sells to loads of people he is a big supplier. I was just making people aware that suppliers arent manufacturing there own materials, And many of the products various suppliers sell are from the same manufacturer. The only difference being colour range and price.
