Just had it confirmed by Day Aggregates that since Mid January they no longer wash their "Plastering Sand" therefore it is now as useful as a chocolate teapot, which incidentally will probably crack less when dry rather than the clay shite being sold!!!!!

I have decided to become a plasterer as there is a skills shortage according to the news and I reckon with the right tools it is pretty easy compared to any other trade. Where can you recommend a good Tool shop?
Hi all, I have a cellar to waterproof and wanted to throw it out there and see what options and different choices people have. I don't need sumps and don't want to use membranes. Slurries and render please. Thanks
