I have never washed a wall or ceiling never used sugar soap long as the papers off never had a problem.i Like going on dry PVA if it's a bit shinny hate smudgey gear .
You can water down plasprime and blue grit but not loads, done it loads of times on jobs I have been back to and it had not failed. Gear just pulls in a bit faster
Unicorn white is silver . U know f**k all about unicorns.
A hand full of kiln dried and a glug of SBR in your PVA and some food colouring and you have home made blue grit which you can go on the same day.
I like it so f**k u 2!
I get my boy to paint the s**t on though and charge more for two visits.

or you could fit a fire surround with a little timber return on the internals...

Sponges are for bath time and finishing s and c
I don’t mean to be a c@nt bit what the f&ck are you on about sbr for and u always skim an s and c float the next day. Float and set not float and weekend and set. Happy days
If they ain’t a spread one coat is perfect . If they are then skim the wall. It’s 3hrs for just the chase or the whole wall ain’t it? Including a pint at half time. I recon pva bonding and skim is too much b*gering about for one chase. I had that same trillion chase job from a sparky mate of...
