Cheers for the advise Stevie, also can I ask you and any other members what would be your recommendation for a all round trowel? I don’t want to be carrying 3 trowels for jobs around the house I’ve heard the medi flex are good but I want to lay on and flatten in with the same trowel?

Thanks Jess, I will post some pics when I’m home, I was hoping I could do the job with just one more skim over but your the pro. I’ve heard it will go off even faster on fresh plaster is that right ? Ant other tips to get the right finish would be helpfull?
