Can you paint directly over a carlite Bonding plaster?

Yes. Got the beads that weekend from wickes and did job that weekend too.

It was only plastered 1 week ago. I also put the skimming on thick around the window. Had to bring it out more with skim around the top part of the window.

What's the best way around this? Should I pull the bead off and start again? Or just go over it with some more finish?

What's the average price for render mesh? And is it better to use than putting fibres in your first mix of multi finish?

Are these fibres normally used when mixing cement? If u put this in with your multi finish, won't it be full of bits?

Hair line cracks but they are all over the walls.

What would you say is best? Apply thin coat of Carlite bonding to wall and then stick down meshing over that then skim. Or just rough on your skim coat then apply it and flatten down with trowel. What u think?

I want to scrim out a whole wall with plastering scrim tape. But I don't want to use the normal type cus I'll be there all day. Where can I get a wider scrim tape for a good price? Is there anywhere in Stoke on Trent that sells this?

No mate. I'm not using dirty water or dirty bucket. This is why I can't understand why it's happening.

Yes. I always check before I buy. And there is always plenty of shelf life left on them

Does anyone know how to prevent Carlite bonding from going off so quickly in mixing bucket. One min it's fine. Then the next it's solid in the bucket.
