How the site boys do it round here
Some use mediflex or ox stainless steel 18inch but the better ones use steel
Hi mate I do believe the new nela black will be a real challenger however If I had 16inch or 14 i would be able to say but the steel feels ace imo
I have the refina finatex 2 it feels very nice however it was very flexible felt good for patching and small gauges but not my thing
I have the...
I didn't use it too much if your going stainless and like it a little stiffer then i say go for it but it's one of them trowels I have never chucked huge sets on with like a MT
However I have finally got my 14inch Kraft carbon it feels like the business little bit stiffer then marshaltown...
My uncle died 54 he was unfit but it was covid that killed him, a builder I work with dad died of it. He wasnt well with cancer but he caught it and it wrote him off killed him over night and the same goes for another relative who had terminal cancer but covid literally took her last year down...
Ok so used it to flatten first coat and it was painful to use chattered if I didnt hold it a specific way and slow down
Not impressed the shank needs to be much longer, going to ask for a refund or swap it to a smaller size when I have spare 5 mins after work
Surely the people who have an elite 18 should test them
Tbh Nela need to sort it out its obvious the shank was too short your telling me no one said it in testing? I hope you guys didnt just test 14 inches..
People seem to think if its flat rendering will get the shape that would take ages.. a few runs down a chisel block and for runs on a wall will see make the trowel usable I could make a cheap trowel sharp and useable this way within a few hours no problem
A good trowel is the quality of the...
It feels sexy as f**k tbh the blade is not permashaped but if that's what people want all they need to do is push down on all four corners one at a time and it creates the curved shape I do it with all trowels for skimming usually if they are flat
It is very light, a few runs on the on a chisel...
The blade has one or two waves it's not dead flat but that's from the fact the spine is way too short I'll take a pic when I get back from work later
I will say it feels better then the previous version the steel is definitely feels more alive
Looks nice but first thought why is the shank the same size as a 14 inch trowel?
Blade is very light less the the 12 inch next to it
Nice flex to it but rendering today so not got a chance to use it
My MTs set and Kraft SS are quality trowels and would not be without them when bashing stuff but it's always nice to treat your self and put against your tax bill
Cancer is an umbrella term for aggressive cell growth, there will never be a "cure" but slowly they will find ways for the countless types to be halted or slowed down..
Its depressing but it's the truth
To the people with the conspiratorial mind-sets, the universe is based on chance and...
Honestly this has been discussed time and time again?
I swear to God people just dont work with LED lights, lay it on too thick and trowel it up too early
Stick to MT ss or carbon and use a flexi for the last two trowels at the max
Started to use this Kraft trowel seems very nice still early days but pisses all over the nela premium much better quality steel and for £15 you cant complain
