I am on my own with no access for readymix :( So i have to mix and screed as I go, what kind of working time will i get do you think? If i have to mix 1.5m2 should i mix half then screed half the room, then mix the other half and screed the remainder? Or split into quarters as far as mixing goes...

I am about to take on the screeding of my downsatirs floor and I need some advice on tools, the area to be screeded is 6.5m x 5m
I want to buy a decent straight edge, am i best getting the longest stratight edge I can buy/afford?
I was thinking of getting the 3 meter version of this...
