I’m hoping someone can give me some advice on a job I’m doing I’ve hacked off a old render the render was a state so water was getting in behind it now some of the wall has salt on bricks I planned to just base it and monocouche it is there something I need to put on top of the salt areas first?

I’ve read on here you can use the ritmo as a conveying pump if needed by Turing the water off im just wondering if the same can be done with the m200.

I’ve got to price a sand cement render job but want to use ocr because I’ve used it on smaller jobs and prefer it.just wondering if there’s much price difference in supply and labor for ocr compared to mono or do people just price similar?

Yeah mate I have heard thin coat is the best render and can even be patched in apparently but I’ve only done it once so it’s not really something I can offer atm. Definitely want to learn how to doit though. Do you hand apply top coat or spray with compressor?

Thanks for reply. So you can spray gear stiffer through the ritmo can you. And one pass with ritmo will cover 15mm beads. If I can get on with the machine might have to look into one of them. One pass must be so much quicker

What makes you say that just a s**t product or you prefer using others. I’ve only used Webber mono k Rend and fassacouce all seemed the same to me

Yeh when I hand ball I just throw mesh on with the rendaid if I’m using it. Just curious if machine guys do any different

Thanks for the reply. So you wouldn’t put the mesh on with the rendaid?Yeh I did think one pass wouldn’t work as on the training day was spraying real wet. Is rendaid something you would spray on or just hand ball on?
