Mate I’ve just got them delivered & they’re really heavy duty weigh around 3.5 kilo each look really well made will be a breeze boarding I reckon . Press the black button to slide the pole up & a few clicks with the trigger

Hi looking for a decent set of plasterboard lifters had some from Screwfix years ago but they’ve stopped making them and now sell the Magnusson ones but they don’t have great reviews , I don’t want the twist ones sooner have the ratchet one if possible. Thx

Yes they certainly do a bit time consuming but the end result is bang on as long as the boarding is ok .

Morning Gents I’ve somehow got a kink in my Nela Giold mark 11 I normally use it for final cross trowel , again down to personal preference . Any trowels out there you can recommend. I use Marshalltown throughout until it comes to cross trowel . Thx

Evening Gents been over boarding ceilings today with 75nm screws I’ve got a Bosch impact driver but it’s been hard work with it , plumber lent me his Makita lithium one & seemed a lot easier . Just getting the feelers out whether to get the Makita one or is there anything better on the market ...

Not a lot really to be honest but I want to by a new trowel for wearing in anyway i thought I might purchase the tyzac as probably like a lot of plasterers we have a favourite trowel . The one on the left of the image is 2nd trowel or final trowel , the other one is for laying down 1st troweling...

Hi chaps can anyone recommend a decent carbon steel Tyzac trowel , I’ve always had Marshalltown & a few Nelas etc , but out of curiosity I’d like to give one a try , I heard they used to be a good trowel back in the 80s but not sure if that’s the case now or not ? Thx
