I'd say it's pretty fair as long as there isn't loads of the wall blown ect that you have to take it off and make good. But if it is just get in and skim over I'd say not a bad days money/work.

I'll be honest in my opinion you don't need a cv, I've never used one in all my life and if they have asked if I have one I tell them no but this is where I have worked this is for how long, this is what I can do ect ect. It's always worked for me and 9/10 I get the position.

Exactly mate!! This kid was 15 years younger than me and I have more stamina in my little toe I think than he does at all :LOL:! Not only that because I was so behind due to being my own labourer as well I was working till 8pm to get the job done on my right schedule, even after moving like 10...

But now days you have to be a geek and think like that as it clearly pays off for us. Nobody wants to go to work for nothing we are all there for the same reason to leave a good tidy job and finish and get paid.

I recently had a labourer for 2 weeks and it was beginning to cause me so many problems! He had no enthusiasm which I noticed early on but I thought I'd try and praise him when he done something well to make him feel good/proud of himself and maybe start to try and enjoy it a little. TBH I knew...

I've learnt by my mistakes and take pictures before I start and after of all the floors too, I know this can be a bit anal but for the sake of a couple of pictures it's worth it. Least that way if they argue about anything usually a couple of weeks later (why not say at the time job is finished)...

No not straight on, I usually sponge and then clean up all round the edges ect and then maybe flatten off. I then use a refina plaziflex 16" to flatten all the sponge marks out. I only use my steel trowel to put on with.

You still use a trowel just sponge it first instead of the brush, it brings the fat to the service. It's the same as everything people work different and either like it or don't.
