I'm wanting to knock some plaster of only part of the wall in a corner and use insulated plasterboard.
Plaster is currently 20mm thick the thinnest i can find so far is 22mm
is there a way round this what the thinnest you can get
had a man come and look yesterday he's say its down to ventilation. took the skirting board off and peeled some paint off the wall the bricks & plaster are dry. think insulated plasterboard is the way to go to rise the thermal temp of wall
think its a ventilation problem. insulation board i think is the way to go to try and rise thermal temp of the wall.

Hi what's the best solution. Half the plaster on my internal wall in the dining room as gone bad all the salts have come out throughout the winter. It's attracting more damp from the atmosphere as the salts do. I'm knocking all the plaster off up to 1.5 high and starting again. It's normall...
