got to skim up against 'fine mesh corner bead' round a door frame and wondering the best way to go about this ..trying to judge the level over 2 coats seem a little tricky
first attempt as skimming.....read a few threads on here on what causes tiger stripes etc ...not sure if this is what i have ...cant really feel them by hand but can see them ..looks like the surface of the wall went off at different times(first coat showing thro?) but got flattened in(see mid...
final polish done , doesn't look great
..how long will it take before it be redone?
..5:1 pva and repeat the usual 2 coat process or something different?
ta
never done this before,
the lathes seem in decent nick but they also seem gappy to me ...I was thinking of covering the lathes in scrim tape to give the hardwall a better footing..but maybe this is wrong? ...also how long does hardwall need to dry before going over with multi?
thnx

1)can anyone identify the brush in the pic?
2)does 'pure bristle' mean 100% natural bristle or something else?
3)who makes the best 100mm brushes? ..and what do you use?
