Hi guys. About to skim a bathroom ... customer now say hes woried about how much weight there is gonna be on wall with skim and tile/grout ... his tiles are 600x300 ... hes read up that the tiles can fall off !! Anyone heard of this or is he being paranoid ....

I used foil first to stop any moisture coming from the block .... then ive had to build out with large dabs to match the measurment at the top of the bulk head
Hi guys... dot n dabbed a concrete block pillar 3 week ago... i put foil back on first with foam 1 mtr high .... now getting this black mould dampness type of thing ... only on 2 sides of the pillar (see pic) any ideas why .... ????

Some sort of grip fill foam type stuff .. a few on the market ... was told not to use normal dry wall adhesive as it could draw damp from the wall ????

Hi guys... got the back of a fireplace to render... 5' ×5' its gonna be tiled afterwards .. whats best mix to use ... 1 coat .. 2 coats .. ? Lime ? ... been long time only done external walls in past .... cheers ...
