I’ve plastered over tiles before and it has been fine but personally I would advise to remove tiles, make good and skim. Ultimately i think it makes a better job. If you do end up plastering over the tiles make sure they are thoroughly cleaned and free of grease etc before applying the pre-grit.
Too true, I remember my old boss’s attitude and arrogance. He’s retired now and still moaning  I’m my own worst enemy doing too much on my own without a labourer and absolutely killing it. My back, elbow, shoulder and knees starting to give me niggly problems. I thought I’d last for ever...
Think your right mate. Thought I’d spend out on some new trowels and experiment a little with a few things on the market.
I’m coming to the conclusion that there are just too many trowels to choose from and are they needed? I’ve had the same trowels for years but doesn’t hurt to find any game...
Can’t return them after taking them for a spin though! Lol

I know I need a website as everyone uses the internet so a professional site for all is a must. I need to get through January first and will probably invest in a site next month hopefully!

Got dashing job to price and not had to dash for a while, never know what to charge.
Also difficult to know how many bags of spar to allow for, I've normally worked on 1 bag per 4 sqm in the...
