    Render Brick:-

It all started out as a product called Decromace where you had to add fibres while mixing , it's much more advanced now & ya can make a really good job of it using different techniques for the brick face . Well worth putting on garages , out building s etc . Just finished 80+ houses in Leeds &...

    Render Brick:-

Brick slips are much better but a lot more expensive, being a plasterer you get sick of seeing different types of render. For me you can't beat nice stone work or a decent brick !

    SHADOWS ON RENDER

Shine a light across a newly scrimmed ceiling or wall , ( splash water on it then do the above ) there is nothing worse than the currant bun to wreck you're artwork . Tell the architect it's a trowel & not a magic wand

    basecoat and acrylic top coat

I think £18 / m2 is a price fixed by most competitive big firms , especially in south Yorks . That's why most subbies stay where they are these days . Unless you do go down south and try to pick the good crops .

Texture only gets everywhere when you stand in it then decide to walk round the persons house. It's how messy ya want to be with it .

Don't usually here about ally Hawks & trowels getting nicked, usually power tools fetch the reddies for the low life's unless they've nicked the work bus .

Hi all , I'm new to the forum , so all banter is more than welcome ! There's a substantial amount of EWI work coming up in the Leeds area. Any Takers ? This only applies to people who can do the job right ( can usually tell by the state of their tools) experience essential.
