Called in to P1 over lockdown for some render. This was the £30 for a bag of BG on on eBay era. Told by lad at counter that MG is great stuff, all comes from Turkey where the gypsum is purer than the stuff BG mine from East Leake (Loughborough way).

Thanks lads. Had thought about stabiliser first, but can't face queuing at bnq. Was wondering whether to try to 'stabilise' it with a diluted SBR before the slurry, but sure the slurry alone with sort it.
Sick of looking at my neighbours falling off render on a small patch of his gable end, so offered to sort it for him f.o.c, in between looking after the kids (any excuse to get away from them at minute). Trying to minimise the materials I need to get in. Got enough OCR left from a job to do it...

Is it the high flex base you use and if so could it be sponged and painted if that's what he wants to go for? He tends to go for the cheapest option as he sells em straight on.
