It has blown because of either an inadequate key or failure to control suction. Either way, It needs to come off and be redone. If it is poor keying then the scratch coat might need to be redone too or expanded metal lath applied to problem areas. failing that patch the blown areas then tyrolean...

Artex won't ever come back. They only keep two bags at a time in my merchants. It's ok for slinging coving up, that's it.

They have it at my local trade point but it's £11 odd a bag. My local MKM even refuse to stock the stuff after last time and their prices ran into £13-14. It's not worth it.

Unifinish was recalled last time because of bond failure so now I have zero confidence in the stuff. I don't see how it can seal and bond the substrate without compromising the integrity of the finish. PVA all the way!
