I have a small krend job first time with texture finish for me can anyone give me some rough setting times for k1 spray over 6mm hp12 doing it next week and does it make any difference if lay on next day or is it the same setting times even laying k1 on days later ?????

has any one used the skimspeed rules, I bought the ox skimspeed with plastic blade thinking did both skim and render but I since realised otherwise, is there much difference in the blades???? and are the rules good for k rend too

I'm after some advice on weather to brush a watered down mix of sbr on the brick substrate after dash has been hacked off, if so what's the best dilution anybody pls, new work is 2 coat smooth sand and cement.

Has anyone got any advce on skimming steep curved ceilings, where the curve has been formed all the way around the room, done a few before now but always find them a bum, I use a plasflex which does help but I was wondering if anyone had any tips cheers
Just after a bit of direction please anyone, when applying the insulation to block work what is best foam application or adhesive mix and what brands?also at what point are the fixings put in at the same time or later any advice would be a great help thanks

I've just finished floating up some hp12 base coat but got a few hairline cracks occurring, will these pull through my top coat? Any ideas anyone :(

alright lads i,ve got a job that requires lime plastering because of moisture build up so should i just use lime in the float coat say 5 1 1 like render external but i expect i would not need to use waterproofer in the scrach just feb is this right, i ain't done any lime inside before cheers

ok lads so i can't chop off all the painted pebble dash cause it's solid so what would be the way forward 2 or 3 coat or at the very worst eml followed by 3 coats ???
just wondering if its possible to use adhesive for fitting external beads prior to rendering,its just a a pain fitting them with morter and i always usually fit beads interior with adhesive to stop them binging off.can't see a few dabs making a problem unless of course it affects the sratch coat...
i'm skimming a bathroom out and i've put bond it on the two longest walls, hope it does what says on the tub ;D ;D should see the walls am skimming it's as if the tiles were layed on th wall while the render was wet, cracks in the render exactly where the tiles were, like a chess board ;D ;D

i got a damp course job to price up tomoro, heard alot of you guys say that once the wall is injected, you would tank the wall before applying the scratch coat. what material do i tank with? is this bitchman? ???
