What do you want for it, I'm assuming it doesn't need a bigger compressor as its got one built in?
Am I gonna need a different mixing shaft?
It's a 2012 ritmo
Anyone selling the skim kit for the Ritmo I've got 100m plus walls and ceilings to put on prob 5k m2 total commercial, but know we will use it once so defo not buying it new!
I have the man power but they have to be spread out across various contracts and fines on this job are in the contract...
Anyone selling a slim/ thin coat kit for the Ritmo, got 100m plus ceilings and walls to do soon but prob will only use it on this job so want a second hand one.
Thanks
That will be covered its at over site at the moment they are running composite decking around a threshold level.
It was clean when we left too might I add!!
We got caught out with their accelerator last year put about half a drum to a butt sprayed till half ten, still soaking at half 4 when it was dark next morning it was like concrete so 4 hours with 3 hard scrape about 75m.. Ouch!! I'd use the Parex one personally works a treat
Do you think it's likely to be that I know @Rigsby said he had problems with his but had a load of work done to it and was fine but changed how he set up before spraying.. Cover stator in water 5kg powder switch on for a sec then fill up and start pumping.
We're setting up the same apart from...
Yeah we fill up just below bar on bottom of mixing shaft put appox 5kg in switch on till gear is coming out, fill up and start pumping.
Shall we try start up mixing for a few seconds but no gear coming out then fill up?
We've never put powder in when mixing from start up.
Chaulk but we had it a month ago with ocr on too and Parex before that
Thanks for the quote mate I'll call you tomorrow for some bits. Prob need a pump tester too with the clamped rotar
Let me know when a Ritmo l comes up maybe x demo the m is great but the extra pumping length will make it easier for us.
@Jrend how have you found the move up to a bigger one?
What's the price comparison for the clamped for the Ritmo m compared with the maintanance free? I'm assuming a r & s tester is needed too? Or just clamp up a little when running piss?
We had exactly the same problem couldn't work it out, missed a whole day from setting the machine up 3 times and missing the window. Fine running gear till air goes on. Serious ball ache
Same the next morning so straight onto the old Pft and perfect.
Anyone had issues with p1ss rotar stator?
We put on new on Tuesday and ran 3 times with gear outta the hose but after a few seconds of spraying blocked.
Missed the window for pumping and beaded for the remainder.
Same thing next morning so put old pft on and bang straight away pumping.
Gonna go...
Lots of mixed opinions on this thread, all machines have plus and minuses
But all make our lives easier... Most of the time anyway.
Anyone had trouble with the rotor stator from p1ss for the ritmo?
A proper decorator will alway put a 120 lightly over all fresh plaster then miss coat, sand/coat/ sand / coat gives the previous surface a slight key for next layer of paint.
Most don't do this but I think it's like the bell ends one coat sponge floating as apposed to coat/ flatten / coat /...
They all crack it's same as any render cement based, stress and shrinkage is most common.
I have never had a problem with the acrylic done right only being 1.5 or 3mm top coat they seem to flex a lot more.
We always tell clients we can't guarantee substrate but will guarantee render.
That's why...
That's what I don't understand with weber if a peak is 8mm and the total thickness is 15 mm for mono if their is a decrepency in the wall their is a good chance of rend aid grinning throu. We apply 3mm fully mesh another 3mm scratch. Bead and top.
When we went to flitwick they had the test...
So in effect it's not a bonding agent but more like to give consistent suction.
We like base coat and mesh as it creates a substrate with a sound, hard pre coat that has mesh almost at the substrate. Then mesh stress points on top coat.
Maybe over kill but works good
What exactly does the micro do is it like the r10 primer ?
What are the limits of it?
We always stick to systems and will base/ mesh pretty much everything unless the rare 7n blocks come up ( usually when the builder isn't tight) can it be use on hack off?
What's the damage on it per tub
Good luck fella.
Start with a gang as a labourer with a little knowledge, learn the materials inside out then start flapping when you finally do bang some on. You'll get their after a few years but endure the abuse and head down and graft. It's hard but banter is a1 and after 10 years plus when...
We have this all the time pricing 10 k plus jobs and loosing out to someone who priced it a third cheaper but what the client doesn't realise is it's not just black and white with price it's down to quality, detail and finish.
We who are supplying high end finished facades should stick to the...
