    So it wasn't probably the best day to hit a 40+ metre artex comb ceiling by myself....took 3 glues as i wanted as much time as poss...5 bags of plasterin all...jesssussss 1st coat didnt cover the artex like i like, so layed on 2nd straight away..noticed 2nd wasnt perfect...so mixed up a 3rd...

    had 2 bags of multi from same batch.....batch number 2093051535 date 01/08/2009......only a 12 meter ceiling today reboard and skim but was the hardest ceiling ive ever done..i hit a 37 over artex last week and it was a doddle compared to this badboy.plaster on 1st coat was setting within 5 mins...

    bond-it although cuts back suction ...it dont kill it....there will still be suction through gypsum bond-it its really for creating a key as segs said on the simpletons section thread..ie background being ....tiles, metal lintels,high gloss paints...if your looking to kill suction use gypsum...

    scratch coat and depth on bonding/hardwall and other backing plasterers

    al depends on depth if it less than 20mm then no, i devil float up if hit next day but bonding/hardwall is designed to be hit same day really. If depth is more than 20m then do a scratch coat then second coAT TO BRING OUT DEPTH, But me personally i use alot of universal one coat as backing...
