I cant get parex parinter anywhere nr me and delivery charge is ridiculous and will only be putting a total thickness of 4mm on in two coats with top coat being a OCR tight coat...

hows it going in plastering land things sure seem to be back on the up for most.
im still taxi driving and to be honest cant knock it as it got me thru the bad times

im seriously thinking of doing what i did for 33 years waving at walls.
probablylooking for employment full time up...
i am being told plasterers in this area are very rare and can earn £50 an hour or 250 a day easily,sutton in ashfield apperently has a distinct lack of spreads.
i would like to show the responsis to this thread to the person who told me this.

lately i have been taking a 2x 1 foot square piece of plasrerboard with me,1 of them has a couple of thick coats of pva on them showing how shiney it is.the other has got a sample of soveriegn plasprime on it ,the differance is staggering and really helps with the sell.:RpS_cool:

well i skimmed over it today the first time ever over one of these type bonding agents and i must say that skimming over it was much nicer/easier than pva,especially with the condition of the walls.thats the plus point.
