Anyone in North Yorks need a hand?

When we sold up we bought a little house we now rent out, I gutted it, ripped every ceiling down and reskimmed the lot. I put central heating in it, new kitchen, bathroom, walls knocked out and floors propped and lintels replaced etc etc. I did the lot with our lass, apart from sparky mate who...

That's the second go you've had at taking "a bit of plastering" totally out of context and trying to spin in into something different. As long as it makes you feel better I suppose. I've already said I've been in the building trade for 20yrs and you try make out I think it is a "f..... hobby"...

Think whatever you want, I don't need the expense, stress or the heartache. And I actually quite enjoy a bit of plastering.

I'm the most straight up fairest bloke you could meet, I'd want what we did and what I was worth. This job is all "How long is a piece of string" anyway isn't it.

We live full time in a motorhome, I can't carry the tackle for plumbing even if I wanted to which I don't.

Anyone in North Yorks need a hand?

Labouring really and I'm not wanting silly dosh. I've been in the building trade for 20yrs as a plumber though we've now left the rat race, so I just want some beer tokens. I can use a trowel and have skimmed plenty of walls. Though I'd never call myself a plasterer, one did once said my work...

If you ever saw the guy I'm talking about skim a decent size ceiling you'd know straight away it was probably true.

The best plasterer and cleanest I've ever seen by a mile told me the old fella who taught him went to work in a suit, put his overalls on and did his day. Then at the end he took them off and went to the pub, looking like something straight out of Burtons window.

Looks like Ronald has bunged them a few quid to take down the live feed, you've been able to watch it stay exactly the same as the day it was served for close to a decade PMSL.

Anyone else find life a struggle, nver mind running a business?

It's always appeared to me that the modern living is making people ill, not fixing it. There were virtually no poorly kids when I was at school in the 80s, now the majority have asthma, allergies off the scale, kids with cancer, it's bloody awful. Some weird f..... change in 30yrs if you ask me...

Throw 90% of your collected garbage (possessions) in the local tip, sell your house so you dont have postman delivering demands everyday. Buy a motorhome and find a minimal job on a nice campsite that pays your pitch and leccy. If you want some extra beer tokens help the local guys or do a week...

My brother in law has this to do, I told him I'm not going anywhere near it and that it will cost him a few quid.
