    I priced a loft conversion to plaster in May, heard nothing till this morning, can i give a date to start as soon as possible? Tbh I'd long given up on it and forgot about it. Is it right for the customer to think it's the same price? materials were on top as they've gone up anyway.

    I've been hacking off 30 year old drywall adhesive, how strong! !! Never to be underestimated, the Sparky said it gets tougher with age? I don't know about that, what is the shelf life on it?

    silver sand

    Im sure I saw a post somewhere on here that mentioned using silver sand for external rendering. Is that right? Just wandering how it differs from soft sand regardz cracking. I've not done too much rendering but I only use plastering sand , am I missing a trick?

    artex with coving

    How do you guys re-skim artex with coving in place without losing the profile and scraping the ceiling? I've always scraped but been ignorant of asbestos, thought that was long gone.

    Hi guy's I've been asked to render a garage internally, the exterior wall has earth against it and the damp has come through, would a waterproof agent prevent this from happening again? I can't access the outside wall to remedy it that way.
