I've used sika1 before for a builder, it's used for tanking I think and it makes the s+c go like chewing gum. It also firms up pretty quickly so giv it a scratch with the sika additive then giv it a top coat as normal. That's my experience with the stuff anyhow, only used it the once

All I did was scrunch up the bag the wallcrete comes in and pushed it in lightly in some areas and deeper in other areas. As for colour it was basecoated with a terracotta, then blushed with a terracotta/red mixture then obviously the black is just black with tints of grey bands running through em

You can rake back to leave a mortar joint with wallcrete, but because the original brick which was used to build the house are that random ie chunks taken off corners, different sizes etc it was just easier to take out enough to be pointed then when it does get pointed up they'll get filled in...

Yea mate, eml then scratched to float beads then topped off to straight edge to form a hard angle and roughed up with a wallcrete bag to give the pitted rustic look

If beading over existing I either use left over skim from the first mix or recently I started using panel pins straight through the bead rather than the holes.

I use one ov them plastic soakaway chambers there 1mx0.5m and lite enough to pick up with one hand so ur not puttin ur handboard n trowel down all the time, they do take up space in ur van though.

Can any1 explain how to do a scribe on cove, I coves out a full house a couple of months back and tried on a couple of occasions to scribe them but no luck. I cut the angle on a 45 then cut out the chalk with a coping saw but it just wasn't happenin for me.
