Has anyone on here sprayed baumit mineral base coat topped with silkontop through the Ritmo, if so any advice would be much appreciated as I've not used this product before , cheers

Probably should of gone for a thin coat system on render board, you can't fill cracks in krend unless it's the mend rend system as mentioned by Ivor , think that's your only option now ,

Was going to use them on a job a few months ago but they let us down on delivery so not tried them since , tbh most basecoat safe similar, try parex parmurex or if you want cheaper then krend GP mortar , both are good for tc base

Maybe put a coat of nivoplan over it then prime and spray thin coat

Anyone give me an idea of labour only cost per m2 , mesh and basecoat over ewi , got some lads putting on before we spray topcoat and they want us to offer them a metreage price to basecoat , would do it ourselves but not got time , cheers in advance

on my public liability insurance it works out about £100 a year under plant up to about £10000

@Curry Hi mate, done some of this last year by hand, lot of rubbing down etc,we now have a big 250m2 ceiling to do, can we spray on with our eze machine or the ritmo. if we spray is it one coat or two and also what costs labour only m2. cheers in advance. Clive

When u bought the machine I think you made a mistake with the first letter when researching , should of gone G4 not K4 lol

I've done one pass Ivor but two is always better , serrated edge on first and second ,

Get it from sovereign chemicals, renderlite is about £12 a bag ,

Primer then thin coat , much tidier job

Using both these machines at the moment and my honest opinion is , if you mostly do mono , render , etc then the ritmo is top dog at your budget but if you do mostly thin coat or ewi then it's the eze 24 all day, The ritmo will need add ons to do thin coats, and the eze is a conveying machine...

Mix for 10 min then let it bind for 5 to 10 min, knock up another tub while first is sitting then quick spin on first tub before you lay on and keep that process going , good luck just don't rule off the second pass too thin or you'll end up scratching back to the first pass then jobs knackered...

Welcome along mate , first of all don't be trying to mix and lay on, it's not massive areas but it's more labour intensive than s&c , on new blockwork , slightly dampen , lay first coat on at 8mm mesh to stress points flatten with serrated then second coat straight on at 8 -9 mm , over with...

Rowland if you micro then spray one coat it'll prob slump being krend , me and rich did the exact same thing, if beads dubbed on then should be fine in one coat [emoji3] go for it groper

Rigsby , what water setting do you spray your OCR on, been spraying krend GP mortar, sprays nice on 220 but seems to pick up pretty quick ,

That's about right for hpx , the ft is a bit on expensive side , I was paying £8.40 but don't use it any more as converted to parex , beads are nearly double what I've been paying , was getting my gear from Keyline in Bristol

Couldn't do one coat as stone was to proud so scratch coat to fill out then top coat. Put 15mm beads on the flat corner quoins , ending up with about 8mm float coat

Is parmurex OCR , if so maybe water the micro down so it has a little suction, we done one today GP mortar over recon stone, sprayed a tyrolened hpx coat on first then gp mortar next day ,
