Already on it. I have to say the look on his face was something else. (He was a nightmare to deal with, never encountered anyone like him) He looked like he'd just witnessed a mass slaughter of innocent people. It was priceless :)
I left it a bit late asking for help, had the hearing today. Got a bit panicked last night getting everything ready and just trying to get something to throw in there. Stated my case about the 2 different types of beads from 2 different suppliers and printed out a bit from a screwfix forum where...
Thing is I bought 2 boxes online (100 beads total) this batch, used them before this as well. Used most of them on a job before this one. We didn't have enough of them for this job so got some expamet from the local merchants. Both types of beads have rusted. We've had no problems on any other...
Probably used about 35 to 40 beads. Just don't see how it's my fault that beads rust and the beads can't be faulty from two different manufacturers. In my mind I can't see how it's down to me. Never had a problem before. There's got to be a reason.
Some from a local merchant and others from an online supplier. Had boxes of them previously with no problems. I know, a bit of waste off one of the beads was left in one of the lads I work with garden all winter, it's still there now and no signs of rust.
Some advice please lads. I have a county court claim against me for rusting internal skim beads. Beads were fitted to existing building and a block extension. Some were stapled on and some stuck with skim. We used beads from 2 different suppliers on the job and they're from 2 different...
Took the plunge and bought one of the hilti sd5000 a22 battery screwguns. It's quiet, not as powerful as their corded but not slow and doesn't make much difference, love it. Batteries last well and i'll be getting another. Transformer and leads are a thing of the past for me. Will keep them for...
Thanks for that info Tony. Appreciate you not getting arsy and explaining what you know. Thanks. I've seen the 22v lithium but was worried how long they'd last. I can see what you're saying. You do have a point. Think i'll look into giving one a go. The concept was no good for me, kept jamming...
Pros and cons to batteries Tony. Initial cost is one thing, never needing to buy new batteries another and you know how much they cost. Good for small areas but for a small team working together screwing all day needs a lot of batteries and chargers. We're efficient and save time anywhere we...
Had a makita which jammed to much which put me off makitas, not saying there all bad. Tried senco battery and corded, don't like the depth stop on them. Changes with pressure too inconsistent for me and the nose doesn't have enough surface area or it's too much pressure is needed, even with the...
I have an external roof on the underside of a balcony to plaster. Wondering if there exists a plasterboard and finish that would be suitable rather than mesh and render.
