I was always told make a good job of what you can get on at least you wont be called back and you will get paid. It is no good banging aload on then having to go back and re skim.

drylining tool for taping joints on plasterboard. you dont need one unless you dryline .
which is no good anyway in my mind.skim is alot better finish. hope this helps mate keep on skimming.

cut the poly away at the back then get some tilers lathe or such cut it 3 or 4 inches wider than the hole slide in the back tight up to the board and screw it . then just cut a piece of board to fit the hole and screw that to the timber. . tape and skim as normal. saves waiting for other stuff...
What is the work situation with most of you at the moment. a bit hit and miss here in nottingham . just quted for 4 jobs . got a bit on next week but not stacked out . i think people are waiting to see what happens with the market before parting with cash. :'(
hello steve usally they ask for three quotes then leave it up to the customer to choose. they will give her the go ahead over the phone if the price doesnt exceed a certain amount. they then forward the cheque to the policy holder . if you need any more info just email me
